would it be worth it to throw some retatrutide on top of my 250mg weekly test dose just to help out with my lipids and keep things healthy? im not actually trying to cut right now so weight loss isn't really the goal or anything but i was thinking maybe the reta would help keep my bloodwork looking a bit cleaner- let me know if anyone has tried this or if its just a waste of money if you arent in a deficit thanks

plus while it might help a little bit with the metabolic stuff there are way cheaper and easier ways to fix your lipids than using a super expensive glp-1 meant for weight loss. if your bloodwork is looking a bit rough i'd just look into some cardarine or even just cleaning up your diet and doing more steady state cardio instead. save the reta for when you actually want to get shredded because using it just for the lipid benefits while trying to eat normally is like using a bazooka to kill a fly lol you're just gonna end up frustrated and probably way too skinny!

honestly feels like using a sledgehammer for something you can fix way easier. reta might help a bit on paper but it’s kinda overkill if you’re not even trying to drop weight, plus it’s still pretty new so who really knows long term.

if your main concern is just keeping your bloodwork clean and managing lipids while on a trt plus dose you would be way better off just sticking to the basics like high dose fish oil, citrus bergamot, or even a low dose statin or ezetimibe if things are actually out of range. reta is way too expensive and way too powerful just to use as a "health supplement" if you're trying to stay big. save that money for some high quality food or your next actual blast because using a triple agonist glp-1 just for lipid control while trying not to lose weight is like using a sledgehammer to hang a picture frame lol.

a lot of guys assume anything GLP related = healthier labs, but it’s more of a downstream effect thing rather than a direct “fix the lipids while on gear” tool. if anything, running it just for that can end up being expensive with not much return unless your diet or bodyweight is actually changing in a meaningful way.
