Hey everyone.
I figured I’d share how my experience with Retatrutide has been going lately. I kicked things off on December 31st with a 3mg shot, and honestly, by the very next day, my appetite was basically non-existent. However, a couple of days later, the "fun" started - I was dealing with brutal nausea, constant burping, and just a really upset stomach. It stayed that way for a while.
Thinking I could manage the side effects better, I decided to split my dose. I did 1.5mg on Monday, January 5th, and another 1.5mg on Friday the 9th. Well, Saturday rolled around, I had some oatmeal for breakfast and took a nap, but I woke up feeling absolutely terrible. We’re talking vomiting, diarrhea, and such intense stomach pain that I actually ended up in the ER.
The two main things I've learned: first, this stuff definitely works; and second, do not be an idiot like me and start with a high dose.
It's now Monday the 12th and I’m finally feeling a bit more human. I've been staying away from anything with too much fiber for now. For those of you with Reta experience, what should my next move be? Should I drop down to 2mg once a week? Maybe try 1.5mg every few days or just twice a week? Or should I just take a break from it entirely for a bit?
I’m hoping my body just needs time to adjust and I won't have to quit, but I really need some advice. That hospital trip was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. And you know how it is - guys usually don't go to the doctor unless they think they’re actually dying, lol.
damn man that sounds rough, ER trips are no joke - glad you’re feeling a bit better now
appreciate you sharing this tho, real experiences like this help people not rush dosing
that stuff clearly works but yeah starting high seems to be the common mistake
