hey so i just kicked off my dnp cycle today at 250mg and i think i got my bases covered with the supplements i'm running nac vitamin e astaxanthin ala plus electrolytes and i'll probably add t3 later on. i've definitely done my homework here but there is one thing i can't really find a solid answer for

basically i'm planning on sticking to a keto diet since i work in an office and dont want to be a sweating mess at my desk but do sugar alcohols like the ones in protein bars make you run hot like regular carbs do? i know the body doesnt really absorb most sugar alcohols so it should be fine right or am i missing something? also how is the heat response with dairy compared to stuff like wheat or bread products

thanks for any help you guys can give!

those protein bars can be sneaky though, some still have enough carbs to matter

those keto bars wrecked me on dnp lol not so much heat but insane bloating and stomach chaos which somehow made the whole “running hot” feeling worse. dairy was hit or miss too… honestly anything heavy in the gut made me feel like a furnace 😬

Even on low carb I was still a sweaty mess on DNP lol, it’s not just carbs that make you hot, your whole metabolism is cranked. Sugar alcohol bars didn’t spike heat for me but they wrecked my stomach which was not fun while already overheating dairy was hit or miss too, sometimes fine sometimes felt like I turned into a furnace after. Honestly there’s no perfect “stay cool” diet on that stuff.

Keto didn’t save me from the heat at all, still felt like a human toaster just sitting there 😂 sugar alcohol bars were actually worse because bloating + overheating is a nasty combo. Dairy sometimes made me flush too, especially milk. Honestly once it builds up you’re gonna sweat no matter how “clean” the carbs are.

Stick to the keto plan if you want to survive the office, but be careful with those "low carb" protein bars. Even if the sugar alcohols don't spike your insulin like a Snickers bar, your body still has to process them, and DNP is a beast that finds a way to turn almost anything into heat. Maltitol is the worst for this—it’s basically just sugar-lite and will definitely make you start pitsweating during a meeting. Erythritol is usually safer, but honestly, any "fake" food can trigger a mini heat wave.

those bars can still make you warm.not always like straight carbs but enough to notice, plus the stomach drama from sugar alcohols on DNP is… not fun lol. dairy was hit or miss for me but big carb meals were instant furnace mode no question
