hey im still kinda new to all this but i got friends who have been blasting for years and they help me out a bit but honestly whenever i ask about anavar they just say its not really worth it. they dont really give me a straight answer on what i should actually run for my second cycle though so i’ve been doing my own research. i see alot of hype about it online and it seems solid so i was thinking about just doing like 300-400 test and adding 12.5mg of anavar twice a day (so 25mg total).
does that sound like a good second cycle to you guys or am i missing out on something way better? i just want to make sure im doing this right since my buddies arent being super helpful with the specifics lol.
Honestly, your friends are probably just used to the heavy stuff if they think var isn't worth it. 25mg is a perfect dose for a second cycle - it gives that nice polish and strength without making you feel like garbage. I'd stick with that and the test.
bro 300-400 test plus 25mg var is a classic for a reason. its way better to do a "mild" cycle and actually keep your gains than to blast a bunch of harsh stuff and lose it all because you couldnt eat or train. your buddies are trippin lol
I wish I started with something like that instead of listening to my "pro" friends lol. The var pump is literally the best feeling in the gym. Just make sure you got some taurine on hand in case the back pumps get too annoying.

Honestly “not worth it” usually just means it’s expensive for the gains. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t work. A lot of people love it for how mild it feels.
For a second cycle, simple is smart imo. You’ll actually know what’s doing what instead of guessing. Save the complicated stacks for way later 👍
I ran something similar and strength went up fast, especially on presses. Didn’t blow up size-wise but the physique looked tighter for sure.
Your buddies might be chasing scale weight. Var is more of a “look good, perform better” compound than a mass monster.
If you tolerated your first cycle well, adding var is a pretty common next step. Nothing fancy but it gets the job done without a ton of drama.
