so i was put on this stuff like 2 years ago with lisinopril to manage my blood pressure but the last couple weeks i just got lazy and forgot to grab my prescription so i havent taken it in a bit. honestly my muscles look way bigger now and i just have a much more full look than before. also its actually nice not waking up to piss like four times every night. i was only on a small dose anyway-just 12.5 mg.

is it worth just dropping it for good? ima check my bp and see where its at without it first but if i do actually have to stay on it is there anything i can take with it so i dont lose that fullness? i hate looking flat when im on it lol

Be careful man, lisinopril and diuretics aren't really stuff you want to just cold turkey. That "fullness" you're seeing is mostly just water retention because you aren't flushing it out anymore. It looks cool in the mirror but your heart might not be loving that extra pressure- definitely check those numbers before you decide to stay off it for good.

The "night pisses" are the absolute worst part about diuretics lol I feel that. But 12.5mg is a pretty standard baby dose. If you find out your BP is spiking without it maybe ask your doc about switching to something like Telmisartan? A lot of guys find it doesn't flatten them out as much as the old school water pills do.

Bro don't play around with BP. You might look "fuller" now but high blood pressure is a silent killer especially if you're running any other gear. If the lisinopril was working it might be worth the trade off. Maybe just up your carb and salt intake a bit while you're on it to keep some of that volume in the muscle?

Honestly I'd check your BP at different times of the day- like morning and right after the gym. If it's still solid then maybe you don't need it but 2 years is a long time to be on meds to just stop overnight. If you have to go back on just drink way more water than you think you need to keep the muscles hydrated.

That fullness is addicting for sure but don't let vanity get you in trouble. High BP will wreck your kidneys way faster than you think. If you really hate the flat look maybe look into some natural vasodilators like beet root or just a really good pre-workout to help with the pump while the meds do their job.

haha yeah the "gear look" definitely comes back when you stop the diuretics. I always felt like a flat pancake on that stuff too. Just make sure you aren't getting those "red face" headaches from your pressure getting too high. If the BP stays in a safe range without it then lucky you but keep a close eye on it for a few weeks.

I’d definitely check your BP before making any calls. Feeling fuller is nice but high blood pressure sneaks up on you real quick. Not worth the risk just for looks tbh.

Sounds like a diuretic effect tbh - less water out = more “full” look. But yeah waking up to pee all night is the worst 😅 still probably smart to talk to your doc first.

I stopped mine once without thinking and my BP shot right back up… didn’t feel anything but numbers were bad. Might look better off it but health > aesthetics for sure.

If you do have to stay on it, maybe diet tweaks could help with fullness? More carbs, sodium balance, hydration etc. Not a doc tho lol just what worked for me.

The sleep alone would tempt me too not gonna lie 😂 but yeah uncontrolled BP is no joke. Good move checking it first before deciding anything
