Hey everyone, I've pretty much stuck with Aromasin since I started my first cycle, but I’ve been seriously considering making the switch to Arimidex lately. I definitely need to get some bloodwork done to see exactly where my E2 is sitting, but I have a gut feeling that the Aromasin is crashing my levels every time I take it. I’m only doing 12.5mg twice a week, but I’m getting those typical symptoms - zero motivation, feeling anxious, etc.
On that note, when is actually the best time to pull bloods to get an accurate E2 reading after a dose of Aromasin? I've been getting a lot of conflicting info on this. Some people tell me to go after 24 hours, while others say to wait 3 days to see the true level.
Man i totally feel you on the zero motivation thing. Crashing your e2 is the absolute worst - literally feels like you're a zombie for a few days. 12.5mg twice a week is actually a decent amount if you arent a high aromatizer so maybe try cutting the tabs in half first?
Honestly aromasin is such a pain to dose because its suicidal so it just kills the enzyme. If you switch to adex just be careful with the rebound. I usually pull bloods about 48 hours after my last pin and ai dose to see where the peak/trough is sitting - 24 hours might be a bit too soon to see the full impact.
I made the switch to arimidex for the same reason and honestly i like it way better. Much easier to microdose. I take like .25mg when i feel my nipples getting itchy and it clears right up without making me feel like an anxious mess.
For the bloodwork id say 48-72 hours is the sweet spot. If you go too early the numbers might look fine but you haven't "felt" the drop yet. Trust your gut though - if you feel like shit then something is definitely off with the levels.
Bro 12.5mg of asin is a lot for some guys!! I literally only take 6.25mg once a week on 500 test or I'll be staring at a wall for three days straight lol. Definitely get those bloods done mid-week between doses to get the most "average" reading.
dont overthink the switch too much man. some people just respond better to one or the other. i've always found adex more predictable for trt+ levels. just make sure you dont bottom out because low e2 is way harder to fix than high e2 in my experience.
honestly i switched to adex for this exact reason. aromasin made me feel like a zombie even on tiny doses. if you're feeling anxious and zero motivation that’s a classic crashed e2 sign. try waiting at least 3-4 days after your last dose before getting bloods so you can see where your body actually "settles"
man aromasin is a beast, if 12.5mg twice a week is crashing you then you definitely have some "high responder" genetics lol. for bloods i usually go about 48 hours after a dose to see the mid-point. 24 hours might show a massive dip that isnt really your "average" level
i've heard the same conflicting info but 48 hours is usually the consensus for a "realistic" reading. if you're sketching out about the switch to adex just remember it’s way easier to rebound if you accidentally take too much. aromasin stays in the system for a while
honestly man just listen to your body. if you feel like trash every time you take it then the numbers on the paper almost don't matter... you're definitely low. id go 2 days after a dose for bloods but maybe try cutting that 12.5mg pill in half next time and see if the "zombie" feeling goes away
12.5mg twice a week is a standard dose but if your test isnt high enough to aromatize that much you're gonna tank. i’ve found 36-48 hours is the sweet spot for bloodwork. any sooner and you're just seeing the immediate peak of the drug- good luck man, crashed e2 is the worst
