Hey everyone, I've pretty much stuck with Aromasin since my very first cycle, but I'm seriously considering making the switch over to Arimidex. I definitely need to get some bloodwork done to see exactly where my E2 is sitting, but I have a strong feeling the Aromasin is crashing me. Every time I take a dose (I'm doing 12.5mg twice a week), I start feeling like garbage-zero motivation, tons of anxiety, all the usual red flags.

On that note, when is the absolute best time to get blood drawn to get an accurate E2 reading after a dose of Aromasin? I've been getting a lot of conflicting info on this; some people swear by the 24-hour mark, while others tell me to wait at least 3 days. What's the consensus here?

as for the bloods i usually try to go about 48 hours after my last dose to see where the dust has settled. 24 hours is usually too early because the levels are still swinging and 3 days might be too late if your body clears it fast so 2 days is the sweet spot for me. honestly though if you already feel like trash just trust your gut and make the switch because life is too short to walk around feeling like a depressed zombie just to keep your e2 in check. definitely get the labs done though so you aren't just guessing in the dark!

that said 12.5 twice a week can hit pretty hard for some people, especially if you weren’t having crazy e2 issues to begin with. those “feel like trash right after dosing” vibes are kinda classic low e2 for a lot of guys.

what i ended up learning is there isn’t really a magic window that gives you the “true” number with aromasin, because it’s doing its thing over days not hours. so whether you test at 24h or 72h you’re just catching different points on the same curve, not a clean snapshot.

switching to arimidex can feel more predictable for some people since it’s easier to fine tune, but the key thing is still matching dose to actual labs instead of guessing based on how you feel right after taking it, because that short window can be misleading both ways
