I just got engaged, but things got a little rocky recently after I finished a cycle of 500mg Test and 400mg EQ. Coming down from that left me feeling super on edge, insecure, and way too emotionally reactive. It definitely put some strain on our relationship, but we’ve worked through the issues now. I've decided that if I’m going to cycle again, I need to be much more strategic. I want to pick compounds that won't cause that kind of instability or - I hate to use the word - toxicity in my marriage.

Do you guys have any recommendations for compounds that are less likely to mess with your head or foster those kinds of dark thoughts? I totally get that a lot of it comes down to the user's mindset and that I'm going to be "hyperhormonal" regardless, but some stuff just seems "cleaner" than others.

congrats on the engagement man! honestly EQ can be sneaky with the anxiety and "dark thoughts" because it can crush your estrogen if you aren't careful. for the next one maybe just stick to a moderate test dose and something like primobolan - primo is way more "chill" for most guys and doesnt mess with your head as much.

huge that you guys worked through it. honestly the "come down" or PCT is always the hardest part for the relationship. have you thought about just doing a cruise/TRT dose instead of coming off completely? the hormonal crash is usually what makes people act out - keeping levels stable is a total game changer for the mood.

avoid tren at all costs if you want to stay married lol. but for real, maybe look into masteron? it usually has a "feel good" effect for a lot of guys and helps with that alpha confidence without the weird paranoia that some other stuff gives you.

it’s definitely the EQ bro. that stuff gave me the worst "doom" feeling ever like i was always waiting for something bad to happen. next time maybe try a lower test base with some anavar or just keep the test lower in general. if your levels are jumping all over the place it’s gonna make you a nightmare to live with.

smart move prioritizing the marriage. i'd say stay away from the 19-nors (deca/tren) and maybe even the high dose EQ. simple test and maybe some tbol is usually pretty manageable. just keep the communication open with her so she knows when you're feeling a bit "off" - makes a huge difference.

honestly man stay far away from tren or high doses of deca if you're prone to that "dark" headspace. eq can actually cause some weird anxiety for people too so that might've been part of it. for me just sticking to a moderate test base and maybe some primo is way "cleaner" and keeps the mood stable

first off congrats on getting engaged! and yeah coming off a blast is always a mental battle. if you want to stay "chill" maybe just stick to a low dose of test and add some masteron. mast usually makes guys feel great and confident without the weird emotional reactivity

i totally get the "dark thoughts" thing, peds can definitely mess with your brain chemistry. honestly the "cleanest" run i ever did was just test and anavar. as long as your e2 doesn't spike or tank you should be able to keep a level head. communication with your partner is key though

definitely avoid the 19-nors like the plague lol. those are notorious for ruining relationships. sticking to dht derivatives like primo or mast usually keeps the mood way more stable. also maybe look into a "cruise" instead of a full pct next time to avoid that post-cycle crash

happy for you guys working through it! honestly man the "emotional reactivity" usually comes from fluctuating hormones. if you keep your doses more stable and avoid the high eq/test combo you might find it easier. just keep it simple next time- no need to go crazy with the dosages
