Choosing between Reta and Mots-c for a lean bulk

I’m looking to get some opinions on the best way to handle an upcoming lean bulk. I’m trying to decide if I should run a low dose of Retatrutide so I can still hit my calorie targets while getting those metabolic benefits, or if it makes more sense to just stick with Mots-c during the bulk. Or, would it even be worth it to run both together?

My main goal is to keep fat gain as low as possible throughout the process since I prefer staying lean. If anyone has experience using these while trying to size up without getting soft, I’d love to hear how you’d play it.

running reta on a bulk is a total balancing act because that appetite suppression can sneak up on you and make hitting your surplus feel like a chore. if you do go that route keep the dose super low just for the metabolic side of things so you dont end up staring at a plate of chicken and rice wanting to gag lol. mots-c is actually a solid choice for a lean bulk since it helps with mitochondrial health and can keep you from getting that puffy look while you are pushing the food. if you have the budget running both could be a killer combo for staying tight but if i had to pick one i would probably lean towards the mots-c for pure growth phases and save the reta for when you really need to sharpen up. just watch your energy levels because sometimes that combo can make you feel a bit drained if you aren't careful with the timing!

staying lean while pushing food is the ultimate dream but retatrutide is a double edged sword for sure. honestly that glucagon hit from the reta is amazing for keeping the fat off but the appetite suppression is freaking brutal even at tiny doses like 1 or 2mg. if you cant finish your meals you are just going to end up on a very expensive accidental cut instead of a bulk lol.

i'd definitely lean more towards the mots-c for a bulk because it’s way better for that mitochondrial health and metabolic flexibility without absolutely killing your hunger. it helps you stay insulin sensitive so the extra carbs actually go to your muscles instead of just sitting on your waistline. i've seen some guys try to stack both but it seems like overkill and you'll probably just end up spinning your wheels trying to eat enough to grow while the reta is telling your brain you're stuffed. just stick to the mots and keep your cardio on point and you'll stay plenty lean without the headache!

if staying lean is the goal i’d personally rather just control the surplus better instead of trying to out-drug fat gain. small calorie bump, clean food, enough cardio, way easier to actually adjust.

honestly low dose reta on a bulk sounds cool til you realize “not being hungry while trying to grow” can turn into accidentally making your lean bulk just a very organized maintenance phase lol. staying lean is great but at some point if you’re constantly trying to outsmart fat gain with every peptide under the sun you can end up majoring in the minors. sometimes a small surplus and patience does more than building a science project.
