hey guys so i started running bpc 157 last week because my elbow tendonitis is acting up again and its really starting to mess with my lifts in the gym. i started out doing 1mg a day for the first few days but then i bumped it up to 2mg daily pretty quick. im also throwing in some tb500 frag at 4mg a week split into two doses but honestly i dont really know if im dosing the frag right or how it even works for real.
im just curious what the recovery timeline usually looks like for you guys because i havent noticed much relief yet and im wondering if i just need to be more patient. how long did it take for you guys to actually feel like its healing up? just want to see if im on the right track or if im expecting miracles too soon lol any advice on their healing process would be awesome
man you are definitely expecting miracles a bit too soon lol bpc and tb are awesome but they aren't magic beans that fix a shredded tendon in five days. usually for legit elbow tendonitis it takes about two to three weeks of consistent pinning before you wake up one morning and realize that "sharp" pain is finally starting to dull out.
man yeah you’re definitely expecting it a bit too fast lol. tendons are stubborn as hell. when i ran bpc it wasn’t like some overnight thing at all, it was more like week 2 i started noticing “oh this doesn’t feel as pissed off today” and then by week 3-4 it was actually usable again. before that it just kinda felt like nothing was happening.
yeah one week in is definitely still “staring at it aggressively and hoping” territory lol. a lot of people act like bpc is magic wolverine juice but tendon stuff is usually stubborn as hell no matter what you throw at it. if the thing that pissed your elbow off in the first place is still there too then peptides can only do so much. most of the decent anecdotes i’ve seen are more like a few weeks before people really notice anything, not overnight superhero repair.
biggest mistake i see is people expecting peptides to feel like flipping a switch while still training the exact same way that pissed the tendon off in the first place. some guys swear they notice stuff in a couple weeks, others say it took way longer, but elbow tendonitis especially can be stubborn as hell so i definitely wouldn’t call it a failure after just a few days.
