honestly dont even worry about "motivation" just focus on the habit. maybe try walking for 20 mins during your lunch break? it helps clear the brain fog from staring at a screen all day and gets your steps up without it feeling like a massive chore. you got this!
congrats on the new job but yeah the sedentary life is a trap haha. i found that getting a standing desk or one of those walking pads really helped me not feel like a total slug by 5pm. once you start moving a little bit during the day it’s way easier to find the energy for a real workout later
i’m in the same boat right now!! the hardest part is just getting through the door of the gym. maybe try a 3 day a week split to start? don't go from 0 to 100 or you'll just burn out. even a 30 min session is better than nothing when youre adjusting to a new schedule
