im planning on staying on about 150mg to 175mg of test e a week for a good while-maybe like 5 years or so until im 26 and actually ready to have kids. just wondering what you guys think is a good hcg dose per week to keep things working for that long? im also taking 0.5g dutasteride every day if that matters but yeah just want to make sure my fertility doesnt tank while im on it. any advice on what would be appropriate would be great-thanks

5 years is a long time but plenty of guys do it. if you're super worried about fertility maybe get a baseline semen analysis now just so you know where you're at before the long cruise

dutasteride won't really mess with the hcg part but it might make you feel a bit different since it's crushing your dht. i'd stick to 500iu total hcg per week and you should be golden man.

don't overcomplicate it. 250iu twice a week (mon/thur) is super easy to remember and keeps the atrophy away. just make sure you store the hcg in the fridge once it's mixed lol.

congrats on thinking ahead bro. most guys wait until they're actually trying for kids to worry about this and it's a nightmare. 500iu a week is a solid "maintenance" dose for the long haul.

honestly 250iu to 500iu of hcg twice a week is the standard for most guys. it keeps the boys "awake" so you aren't starting from zero when you finally decide to have kids in a few years.

dutasteride on top is another variable too… not saying it’s bad, just makes things less predictable

honestly everyone responds different, some guys stay fine on low support and others need more. regular testing is probably your best friend

if kids are a real goal later, freezing some swimmers now isn’t the worst backup plan

long term plans like that are doable but I’d definitely want a doc in the loop - way too important to wing it

5 years is a long haul man… smart you’re thinking about fertility now instead of later though definitely something to keep an eye on with labs
