Hey everyone, I had a question about the anti-estrogenic effects of drostanolone-aka Masteron. I'm thinking about throwing in maybe 100-125mg of Mast Prop every week just to see if it’ll help keep my estrogen levels in check. The goal is to avoid having to use an AI like Arimidex or a SERM like Nolvadex if I don't have to.
Has anyone here tried doing something like this? Did it actually work for you, or is it better to just stick with a standard AI? My main run is 500mg of Test Prop and 250mg of NPP per week, and since neither of those are DHT derivatives, I'm expecting a good bit of aromatization. If you've got any other suggestions, I’m all ears.
honestly mast is great for the "look" but it doesnt actually lower your estrogen numbers on a blood test - it just masks the symptoms. if you're prone to gyno or high e2 sides on 500 test and npp you might still need a tiny bit of arimidex on hand just in case.
i love masteron for this exact reason. it acts like a "topical" AI in a way lol. 100mg might be a bit low for 500 test though... i usually find a 1:1 or 2:1 ratio of test to mast works best for keeping the bloat down without crashing anything.
just a heads up man- since mast is a DHT it might crush your hair if you're prone to balding. but yeah for the estrogen side of things it definitely helps me feel way less "emotional" and bloated on higher test doses.
honestly i stopped using an AI altogether once i started adding mast to my blasts. it just makes the cycle feel "cleaner" if that makes sense? just keep an eye on your blood pressure since mast can sometimes sneak that up on you.
125mg mast prop with 500 test might be a bit low to fully handle the aromatization, but it definitely helps with the "feel" of the cycle. i usually run mast at least half of my test dose if i'm trying to skip the AI entirely.
500 test and 250 npp is a beefy cycle. mast will definitely help with the aesthetic but dont be surprised if you still need like .25mg of adex once or twice a week. everyones aromatization is different though so you gotta just try it and see.
mast prop is a literal godsend for NPP cycles. the NPP makes me so soft and watery but the mast hardens everything right back up. definitely worth a shot before reaching for the harsh AI stuff.
I tried low‑dose mast for that and it did dry me out a bit, but didn’t fully control E2 on higher test. Kinda nice cosmetic boost tho
500 test + NPP is a lot of aromatization territory lol. Mast might take the edge off but I wouldn’t bet everything on it

I ran almost the same setup - mast made me look way tighter but bloodwork still showed E2 up there. Felt great tho not gonna lie
Honestly mast is awesome for hardness/libido, but as a full “AI replacement” it was hit or miss for me. Worth testing carefully
