so what are you guys thinking about running t4 with hgh vs just going without the t4? i see a lot of back and forth on this and honestly i'm just trying to figure out if it's worth adding in or if i should just skip it altogether. also if you guys think it’s a good move what kind of dosage would be solid for a t4 run? let me know what worked for yall because i dont want to overdo it but i want to make sure the hgh is actually doing its thing- thanks guys
from what i've seen t4 is almost a must if you're running higher doses of gh. hgh speeds up the conversion of t4 to t3 so you can actually end up with a t4 deficiency pretty fast. id start low like 25-50mcg and see how your bloods look
i personally don't touch the t4 unless my labs show a real drop. some guys just have bodies that keep up with the conversion fine. no point in taking extra meds if you don't need 'em right?
definitely worth it if you're trying to max out the fat loss. gh is great but it works way better when your metabolism isn't lagging because of a thyroid dip. 50mcg a day is usually plenty for most guys to stay in range
honestly i prefer t3 over t4 with gh because it’s more direct but t4 is definitely "safer" and less likely to make you feel flat. 100mcg of t4 is a pretty standard run for a lot of the guys i know
hgh can definitely unmask a borderline thyroid issue. if you start feeling sluggish or getting cold easily after a few weeks on the gh that’s a huge sign you need the t4
just a heads up if you're already on a blast with other stuff your thyroid might already be stressed. i always run 50mcg of t4 with my gh just as a "insurance policy" to make sure everything's running smooth. better safe than sorry lol
keep an eye on your hair and skin too. if they get dry while you're on gh it's a dead giveaway your t4 is tanking. 75mcg is my sweet spot but everyone is different. just don't go crazy with it right away
you'll see a lot of "pro" logs saying you have to run it but honestly if you're only doing 2-4iu of gh you might not even notice a difference. if you're pushing 6+ then yeah definitely add the t4 in
I skipped T4 on my first HGH run and still saw decent results some people swear it helps but I don’t think it’s mandatory
I tried low‑dose T4 once and honestly couldn’t tell much difference besides being a little warmer all the time lol
Might be worth getting labs after a few weeks on HGH before adding anything - if thyroid numbers are fine then why complicate it
Everyone responds different but I’d start simple and only add T4 if you feel sluggish or bloodwork shows a drop
