I’ve been going back and forth on whether I should just grab some Masteron or Primobolan to help bring my E2 down. Right now, I'm running 280mg of test a week and my levels came back at 2500, with my estrogen sitting at 100. I started using 0.5mg of Arimidex every three days after seeing those numbers, but I'd honestly much rather use a compound that acts as an AI while actually helping me build some muscle at the same time.
My main concern is the DHT and my hair. If I'm already on Dutasteride and decide to run something like a 1:1 ratio of test and mast at 250mg each, is my hairline just going to get fried? On the flip side, if I keep the mast lower - like 125mg or 150mg - will that keep my DHT levels safe but end up being too weak to actually keep my estrogen in check? I'm really looking for some advice on the best way to balance this out.
if you decide to try the lower dose like 125mg it might help mask some of the high e2 symptoms like the bloating or the mood swings but it probably wont actually lower the number on your lab work that much. primo is usually a better bet for actually acting as an ai for a lot of people but it is notorious for being faked or underdosed so you have to be sure your source is legit. if i were in your shoes and terrified of losing the hair i would honestly stick to a tiny bit of aromasin or keep the adex low instead of gambling with mast. having a grainy physique is cool but having a full head of hair is way cooler long term!
primobolan is usually a little bit friendlier on the hair for most guys and it does a decent job of acting like a "soft" AI but you'd probably need to run it at least 1:1 with that much test to really see a drop in your estrogen. just keep in mind that neither of these actually lower your e2 levels on paper like arimidex does they just mask the symptoms and compete for the receptors. if i were you i'd start with a low dose of primo and keep the adex on hand just in case because once your hair starts falling out it's a massive pain to get it back!
if your main goal is actually controlling e2 i’d probably just stick with the ai and dial that in first, then add compounds for growth after everything’s stable. trying to use mast as a fix usually turns into chasing two problems at once
if you really want to avoid the ai then primo is usually a bit "gentler" on the hair than mast but it still carries a risk. at 125mg or 150mg it might help mask some of those high e2 symptoms but with your estrogen sitting at 100 it probably won't be enough to actually bring the numbers down to where you want them. honestly if your hair is your pride and joy you might be better off sticking to the tiny dose of arimidex or just dropping your test dose a bit so you don't aromatize so hard. it’s a total balancing act and sometimes trying to get that "muscle building ai" effect ends up costing you more in hair transplants than it’s worth lol!
